vlogify

privacy policy

effective 28 September 2026

vlogify is made by Matthew Park and published on the App Store by HMU, Inc. It has a simple deal: your clips are seen by the people in your room and nobody else, and they live on your phone. This page says exactly what we hold, why, for how long, and how to make it go away.

what we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, camera roll, or analytics. There is no advertising and no tracking, and the app’s privacy manifest says the same.

your clips live on your phone

Every clip is saved on your phone first. Our server is a relay: it holds a copy of a clip only so the people in your room can receive it, and deletes that copy automatically after seven days. Your friends’ phones keep the clips they received. The finished vlog is made on your phone and is saved only if you save it.

data that never leaves your phone

Notes. Anything you type on the day page or a room page stays on your phone. It is never uploaded, never shown to your friends, and never seen by us.

Preferences. The time font, orientation and language are phone-only settings.

who can see what

Clips are visible only to members of the room they were posted in. Room owners can remove members; anyone can leave. Blocking someone hides their clips and profile from you, and yours from them.

where it lives

Account and room data are stored with Cloudflare (Workers, D1 and R2) and transferred over HTTPS. Cloudflare processes it only on our behalf, under data processing terms that require the same protection this policy promises. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, except as required by law.

how long we keep it

deleting your data

Profile → delete account removes your account, every clip you posted, and the rooms you own, straight away. It cannot be undone. If you cannot open the app, send a request through the support form and we will delete it within 30 days.

children

vlogify is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, tell us through the support form and we will remove it.

changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you before it applies.
